About the Event
Led by acclaimed Concertmaster, MELODY YE YUAN and featuring a world-class chamber ensemble that hail from the prestigious Juilliard School and Colburn School, THE ITALIANS is a concert for the ages!
KONTRAPUNKTUS will be performing the exquisite works of the Italian Baroque masters Domenico Gabrielli, Francesco Geminiani, Pietro Locatelli, Domenico Scarlatti, Tomaso Antonio Vitale, and Antonio Vivaldi.
Our musical offering will also feature one of the fastest rising stars in classical music, AUBREE OLIVERSON, performing the rarely played, yet coveted masterpiece, “Sinfonia in B-flat Major” by the enigmatic and tragic genius, Giovanni Battista Pergolesi.
